iFixit has many comments on all the iPhone 12 series, but the two that stand out are
Thus far, the iPhone 12 series has struggled to accommodate some hefty 5G hardware. The result is deep cuts to battery capacity, speakers, and even the Taptic Engine. The Pro Max seems full-bodied enough to hold its own against 5G pressures. It keeps its huge camera assembly, high-tech L-shaped battery, and a modular SIM reader. It’s the best of all possible worlds if you don’t mind the biggest of all possible worlds.
The glass on front and back doubles the likelihood of drop damage. If the back glass breaks, you’ll be removing every component and replacing the entire chassis. Ouch!
Val Quinn, Channel Seven Sunrise GadgetGuy is reviewing the iPhone 12 soon. You can see details of all the models and some comparisons here.
