Cricut has moved into photo printing with its new StickerPix range, on sale in Australia from today. The Cricut StickerPix Print + Cut ($469) prints, laminates and cuts your phone photos into custom-shaped stickers in one pass. The cheaper StickerPix Print ($289) has no blade and uses pre-cut sticker sheets instead. Both can also make photo prints, labels and photo cards.
Both use thermal dye-sublimation printing, which Cricut says gives water, scratch and fade-resistant results. They’re compact, connect over Bluetooth and work with Cricut’s Design Space app on mobile and desktop. You can start with your own photos, edit templates, use the AI tools or choose from more than 1.8 million sticker images. The full image library and Cricut AI need a paid Cricut Access subscription, though.
You can buy StickerPix from Spotlight, Harvey Norman and the Cricut Shop, and refill packs start at $44.95. The full range of bundles and accessories is on the Cricut Blog.
