As we head into the Australian summer, Black Friday heralds one of the calendar year’s busiest retail periods. Even bigger than Click Frenzy, Black Friday 2022 will see many massive brands offer some of the best technology deals of the year.

Although Black Friday doesn’t actually start until 25 November, plenty of companies have either announced their sales or started early. Expect this page to fill up as we get closer to the date. We’ll update this article with all the deals we find as more Black Friday 2022 sales come up.

Get up to $400 in Apple gift cards with a MacBook, iPad, iPhone and more

Apple is one of the rare brands sticking to the traditional Black Friday timeslot, with this offer strictly taking place between 25-28 November. When buying an Apple device during this time, you can get between $40-400 of Apple gift cards to go towards future purchases.

Some products aren’t eligible, unfortunately, including the iPhone 14 range and iPad Pro devices, but there are still some worthwhile offers to grab. One that stands out is an $80 gift card when buying a pair of 2nd Gen AirPods Pro.

Optus: discounts on phones, accessories and more

Whether it’s 5G internet, NBN plans, phones or tablets, Optus has various discounts across all sorts of mobile tech. Some of the deals require committing to a SIM plan, like the bonus Samsung Tab A8 when buying a Galaxy S22, but others are available outright. Saving $50 on a Belkin dual charging pad is pretty neat.

Nintendo goes big with its Black Friday Switch eShop sale

Lots of great Nintendo Switch games are on sale now, like Metroid Dread, Super Mario Odyssey, and the recent port of Persona 5 Royal. The local Nintendo community site Vooks has a great roundup of everything on sale via the digital store.

PlayStation: up to 64% off PS5 games on Amazon + a massive PlayStation store sale

Amazon has Horizon Forbidden West on PS5 for $49, which is a great price for a stunning game. Other disc-based version of PS5 games discounted include Returnal, Death Stranding, and Demon’s Souls.

Meanwhile, the digital PlayStation Store has its Black Friday 2022 sale now, with up to 70% off a wide range of games. Also, PlayStation Plus subscriptions are 25% off for 12 months across all three tiers, so if you’ve been meaning to sign up, now’s the time.

Deep digital discounts on Xbox games

Deals on games old and new, the digital Xbox storefront has 40% off the recent Gotham Knights, 50% off Cyberpunk 2077, and plenty of sales across popular EA and 2K sports titles.

GeForce Now cloud gaming subscription: $5 Priority plan

Part of the local cloud gaming landscape, GeForce Now lets you play PC games without needing expensive hardware, using virtual machines equipped with RTX GPUs. Between 25 November and 4 December, you can get a month of the top-tier Priority subscription for $5, down from $21.99.
