If Apple’s current range of device colours hasn’t tickled your fancy, perhaps the new yellow iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus might fill the brightly-coloured smartphone void in your life.
As recently announced by Apple, the new iPhone 14 models add to the existing colour options of midnight, starlight, (PRODUCT)RED, blue, and purple. As it currently stands, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max don’t get the new colour, only the base models get to enjoy yellow.
iPhone 14 yellow colour release date and price
Both the yellow iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus models are out soon, with pre-orders opening this Saturday 11 March ahead of the 14 March launch. Available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage sizes, the iPhone 14 starts at $1,399, while the bigger iPhone 14 Plus starts at $1,579. Alongside the yellow phone body, four new Apple Silicone Cases are also coming. These include canary yellow, olive, sky, and iris. Compatible with the brand’s MagSafe wireless charging technology, the cases cost $79 each.
This addition to the iPhone 14 range comes roughly half a year after the device’s initial announcement. The iPhone 14 originally launched on 16 September 2022, and the iPhone 14 Plus hit stores shortly after on 7 October.
Since then, the iOS platform has expanded to enable easy photo sharing between families, karaoke feature Apple Music Sing, the Freeform collaboration app, and several major security and privacy additions.
