Lzzy Hale is one of the most powerful vocalists in rock ‘n’ roll.
That’s evident just from listening to her and her band Halestorm’s studio work, which includes such winners as 2015’s “Into the Wild Life” and 2018’s “Vicious.” Yet, it’s even more apparent when you the band in concert.
And fans will have a chance to do just that when Halestorm performs Tuesday, Nov. 9, at the SAP Center in San Jose. It’s a co-headlining date with another band fronted by terrific rock vocalist — Evanescence, with Amy Lee. Evanescence will be supporting its fifth studio album, “The Bitter Truth,” which is the band’s first full-length release since 2017’s “Synthesis.”
Halestorm has a new album due out sometime in 2022, and has already released one song from the collection — “Back From the Dead.”
Perhaps the two singers will to join each other onstage at the show. Evanescence’s powerful song “Use My Voice” might be a good bet for such a two-fer, given that Hale sings backup on the recorded version of the song.
