Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2021 has announced the beginnings of its new Samsung Galaxy S21-series. And as predicted it includes 5G versions of the S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra. It also released the new Galaxy Buds Pro.
The key differences between the S21/+ and the Ultra are that it has a curved edge screen and Samsung S-Pen support.
Otherwise, all three provide cutting-edge technology for 2021 and beyond.
Aussies get the Samsung Exynos version
Exynos 2100 is not only Samsung’s most advanced mobile processor yet but also its first 5nm premium 5G-integrated mobile processor.
Garry McGregor, Senior Vice President – IT & Mobile, Samsung Electronics Australia, said.
“Mobile technology in 2020 was critical in facilitating connectedness, work stability, education and self-expression. There are three Galaxy S21 range. The Ultra is the ultimate with an advanced, pro-grade camera system and the most powerful S-series battery.
McGregor revealed that exclusive colours would be available from Samsung.com including Phantom Gold and Phantom Redon S21/+ and Phantom Titanium, Phantom Navy and Phantom Brown on S21 Ultra.
We are sorry to reduce such tech to specs. The real-life reviews are what count!

Galaxy Buds Pro
We said Samsung would run out of superlatives – here is the Pro version. We try to spare you the launch hype and stick to the facts.
Samsung says it has improved on sound, call quality, ANC and connectivity over past buds that were pretty good to start with.
The sound may be the one area that Samsung takes the lead. It has an 11mm full-range transducer for deeper bass and a 6.5mm tweeter for the crisp upper range. Most buds only have one speaker.
On the call side, it uses three microphones and a Voice Pickup Unit (VPU. One external microphone also has a high signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) to reduce background noises. It also has new Wind Shield technology.
Its ANC claims an adjustable ANC of up to 99% (that would be incredible) and a 20dB increase in amplifying nearby ambient sounds. ANC and Ambient Sound automatically work together, adapting to your surroundings. It recognises when you’re speaking, and can automatically switch between cancelling and nearby sounds and amplifying them.
When paired to the Galaxy S21 (or later), you get 360 Audio featuring Dolby Head Tracking technology.

And we were pretty chuffed that our predictions for the S21 range were 98% correct. We guessed LPTS IPS for the S21ad nS21+ screens.
