Speakers come in all shapes and sizes, but I’m really curious about the new Samsung Music Studio range. Made up of the Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7, the quirky-shaped speakers are both compact and practical.
They’re among the first speakers to use Spotify Tap, a feature previously available on various headphones that lets you start and stop listening sessions with a single tap. The main appeal here is that you don’t need to bring out your phone to control the music playback.
From a technical perspective, the Samsung Music Studio 7 is the more powerful of the two speakers. It has a 3.1.1-channel sound system, while the smaller Music Studio 5 houses tweeters on either side.
Having seen the new speakers at CES 2026, I think they’d look nice on a shelf, fitting a similar aesthetic appeal to other stylish speakers, like the Samsung Music Frame.
Valens Quinn attended CES 2026 as a guest of Samsung, LG, Hisense, Belkin, Ecovacs, Asus, TP-Link, Reolink, Roborock, and Aiper.
