Of the many advancements robot vacuums have made over the past decade, edge cleaning is one thing they’re still figuring out. We’ve seen some robots opt for a square shape in an attempt to clean as close to walls and corners as possible. But perhaps one of the best attempts so far comes from the Mova V70 Ultra Complete, which uses both extendable brush and mop arms.
Launched in Australia back in July, the $3,299 robot appliance reaches as far out as 17cm. This means that even if the main unit can’t quite squeeze up against a skirting board or a chair leg, its mop or brush can reach out and take care of the last 10% of cleaning it wouldn’t have otherwise been able to complete.
