One robot rolls, the other reaches far into corners: hot off the heels of Mova’s Z70 Ultra robot with a roller mop, the brand is back with the V70 Ultra Complete, its flagship device with extendable arms.
Extending brushes and mops are used by some robot vacuums to get right into tight spaces, but it’s uncommon to see a robot with both in one unit. That’s likely the inspiration behind the ‘Complete’ part of the Mova V70 Ultra Complete, a robot with multiple extendable components.
Most obvious is its wide-reaching mop arm. Equipped with a spinning mop pad that can apply 15N of pressure, the arm extends to reach out 17cm, while a separate brush arm reaches up to 12cm. Both are designed to clean floors and sweep out dust close to walls, furniture, and other objects robots typically struggle to clean.
Priced at $3,299 in Australia, it’s clear that the Mova V70 Ultra Complete is a high-end appliance. But it’s not solely relying on a couple of arms to do all the heavy lifting.
From a vacuuming standpoint, the robot is one of the most powerful on paper, reaching a 42,000Pa peak suction power. Its included docking station may reduce costs over time, using a bagless design, meaning one less ongoing expense.
Like most premium robot vacuums, the Mova V70 Ultra Complete’s docking station also washes and dries the mops (both the extendable one and the other that remains fixed) between cleaning runs.
Mova also positions its top-of-the-line robot as one capable of moving efficiently through Australian homes, able to clear thresholds and bumps up to 9cm tall.
Out now in Australia, the Mova V70 Ultra Complete is available via Mova’s online store, Amazon, and Harvey Norman. It adds to Mova’s growing local presence, following the recent launch of the N1 window cleaner and a major sponsorship deal with the Essendon AFLW team.
