Qualcomm takes a reflective approach at Computex, no new chips

Instead of using Computex 2025 to go all guns blazing, Qualcomm used its keynote to reflect on its re-entry into the PC market. It famously joined Microsoft last year when the latter debuted its Copilot+ PCs, rivalling Intel and AMD in the chip-making race.

When Cristiano Amon, Qualcomm’s President and CEO, delivered his keynote presentation, he focused on the expanding compatibility of the company’s ARM-based processors. According to Qualcomm, its Snapdragon X Series chipsets natively run more than 750 apps and over 1,400 games, with Fortnite set to join them later in the year.

As far as Qualcomm’s next series of PC chips is concerned, stay tuned for the Snapdragon Summit set to begin in September.
